The Network Control Display (NCD) is the next generation of network control annunciators for the NOTIFIER Systems. With a new modern contemporary design, the NCD meets today’s building aesthetic needs. The intuitive color 10” touch screen provides color coded information of detailed system status and point information.
It is compatible with NOTIFIER INSPIRE and ONYX Series nodes as well as the NCA-2. The NCD provides system control and display capabilities for selected or all network nodes, with updated display features to match building aesthetics and user security requirements.
The NCD can be used as the primary display for ONYX Series FACP’s by utilizing Direct Connect. When connected to one or more networked panels the NCD provides network control and status display capabilities.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
The NCD may be powered from any UL Listed non-resettable 24 VDC source from a NOTIFIER compatible fire panel (see panel data sheets).

PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS Weight: 3 lbs (1.36 kilograms). Temperature and Humidity Ranges: This system meets NFPA requirements for operation at 0°C to 49°C (32°F to 120°F); and at a relative humidity (non-condensing) of 85% at 30°C (86°F) per NFPA. However, the useful life of the system’s standby batteries and the electronic components may be adversely affected by extreme temperature ranges and humidity. Therefore, it is recommended that this system and all peripherals be installed in an environment with a nominal room temperature of 15°C to 27°C (60°F to 80°F).

NDC Features
The Network Control Display (NCD) is the next generation of network control annunciators for the NOTI•FIRE•NET™ network. Its contemporary design meets today’s building aesthetics. The intuitive 1024 x 600 10″ touch screen provides detailed color coded system status and point information. It is compatible with NOTIFIER INSPIRE™ and ONYX® series fire alarm control panels (FACP) and nodes such as the INSPIRE N16e/x FACPs, ACM-30 annunciator and RLD remote display as well as the ONYX NFS2-3030, NFS2-640, and NFS-320 FACPs.
The NCD provides system control and status/history display capabilities for all, or for selected network nodes. It can also be used as the primary display for control and status capabilities on a displayless node via Direct Connect.

LED INDICATORS
NOTIFIER NCD Network Control Display Indicators Controls
Green LED illuminates when 24 VDC power is applied; When on battery backup, the green LED will not illuminate.
Yellow LED illuminates when an off normal condition exists.
VIRTUAL EVENT INDICATORS
FIRE ALARM (red) illuminates when at least one fire alarm event exists.
CO Alarm (blue) illuminates when at least one CO alarm event exists.
SUPERVISORY (yellow) illuminates when at least one supervisory event exists (i.e., sprinkler valve off normal, low pressure, fire pump running, guard’s tour, etc.).
TROUBLE (yellow) illuminates when at least one trouble event exists.
POINT DISABLED (yellow) illuminates when at least one disable exists on the network or in the system.
OTHER (varies) illuminates for SECURITY, PRE-ALARM, CO PRE-ALARM, and CRITICAL PROCESS.
SIGNALS SILENCED (yellow) illuminates if the NCD Silence touch point has been pressed or if any other node sent a Network Silence command.

Drill
Ack (Acknowledge) Tap this touchpoint to acknowledge off all active events. Silence (Signal Silence) Tap this touchpoint to turn off all control modules, notification appliance circuits, and panel output circuits that have been programmed as Silenceable. Reset (System Reset) Tap this touchpoint to clear all latched alarms and other events and clear event indicators. Drill Hold this touchpoint down for two seconds, to activate all silenceable output circuits. NOTE: When enabled, the drill touchpoint will be displayed in the Alert Bar.
